Funeral home operator Dignity reported higher first-half revenue and profit and said it is on track to meet full-year expectations.
Underlying pre-tax profit rose to £24m in the 26 weeks ended 25 June from £22.7m last time, while revenue was up 5.5% to £100.9m.
The interim dividend is up 10% to 4.43 pence per share.
Chief executive Mike McCollum said: "This is a good performance by the group. As expected, the operating performance in all three businesses in the second quarter of 2010 was very strong compared to the prior year."
"Our expectations for the full year continue to be positive and remain unchanged," he added.
